Helen Cullen (female)
Practice NurseI have been a practice nurse at The Maltings for over 34 years and greatly enjoy the continuity of care with the patients using my paediatric & adult nurse qualifications. My special interest is in respiratory conditions but I value the variety of roles involved in being a practice nurse.
When not working I enjoy spending time with my 3 grandchildren and advocating for Hands at Work in Africa

Lauren Breed (female)
Lead Practice NurseI have been a practice nurse for 17 years and joined the Maltings surgery in 2018. I have a keen interest in women’s health (contraception and menopause) and diabetes.
Outside of work, I am busy with my two children and playing netball.

Michelle Hollick (female)
Practice NurseI have been a nurse for 5 years initially starting my career as an A&E nurse during the COVID pandemic. I’ve worked a few different roles since qualifying, including a complex infusions nurse and a surgical nurse. I have been with The Maltings Surgery for two years, specialising in Respiratory.
Outside of work I enjoy Holidays and walking my three dogs with a slight obsession for Sausage dog

Karen Wareham (female)
Practice NurseI qualified as an RGN in 1998, working in ITU and as a specialist nurse in Pain Management prior to joining the team as a Practice Nurse at The Maltings in 2018.
I very much enjoy the variety that the role of Practice Nursing brings, ranging from Women’s Health to baby immunisations and travel vaccinations to name a few.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family as a busy Mum to 2 teenage girls.

Ruth Wiggins (female)
Locum Practice NurseI have a keen interest in promoting womens health and provide a specialist LARC and menopause service. When not working I can often be seen out on my bike training for triathlons.

Lauren Ashby (female)
I have worked at The Maltings Surgery for over 6 years in admin and clinical roles. I completed my foundation degree in Nursing Associate practice in 2023 with the University of Hertfordshire. I enjoy building a rapport with patients and carrying out reviews for diabetes, mental health and atrial fibrillation. When I am not working, I enjoy travelling and going to football games.
Healthcare Assistant

Antonella Dell’Acqua (female)
I work as a healthcare assistant with 13 years’ experience at The Maltings Surgery. Before this, I was a registered nurse for over 15 years in Italy and the UK. I am passionate about health and wellbeing and enjoy working with patients and providing holistic care. I carry out NHS health checks, wound care and diabetic foot checks.
